Book Description: In this decade, the growth of medical reference works that are available in a computer format of any kind has grown exponentially. Most such resources have consisted of the simple transfer of printed books onto disc without much, if any, modification. The number of works available on computer that have been designed specifically for the computer are few and far between, and we envisioned PediaStat to be a modern text reference designed primarily as a computer based tool.
The emphasis in PediaStat is: a) to provide the practitioner, in a clinical setting, with enough information to re-familiarize him/herself with a disease, injury or ingestion, b) to provide a document of the entire patient evaluation, and c) to concisely outline management of the patient.
